Overview

In this role you’ll shape premium material expressions for Converse footwear, focusing on women’s lifestyle and streetwear audiences. You’ll work within the Trend & Expressions team to translate cultural insights into distinctive material stories that elevate product narratives. Expect collaboration across design, development, and operations to bring concepts to life, balancing artistic storytelling with commercial relevance. This role offers a chance to influence seasonal material directions and storytelling through mood boards, CADs, and material explorations. You’ll join a cross-functional, consumer-focused environment that values curiosity, collaboration, and innovation.

Responsabilità

- Shape footwear collections through material innovation and trend forecasting
- Create seasonal material narratives and visual storytelling tools
- Design premium material expressions, trims, prints, and patterns for footwear
- Collaborate with Design, Color Design, Product Management, and Development teams




- Communicate design intent via CADs, technical packages, and presentations
- Support prototyping, material exploration, and product review sessions
- Manage multiple projects with quality and attention to detail

Requisiti fondamentali

- Strong portfolio showcasing material design and storytelling across footwear, fashion, or related categories
- Ability to balance creative storytelling with product execution
- Strong expertise in trend research and translating insights into concepts
- Advanced proficiency in design tools and digital workflows, including CAD creation and presentations
- Experience with 3D and AI-powered design tools (a plus)
