OverviewIn this role you contribute to the design of power solutions for space equipment within Thales Alenia Space's Rome power product team.
You shape hardware specifications, develop and validate power modules, and ensure robust power distribution for space systems.
You will work with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver reliable power solutions under cost and schedule constraints.

ResponsabilitàDefine equipment/modules/boards specifications
Plan and follow development, validation and manufacturing activities
HW design of power solutions (DC-DC converters, PWM, H-bridge, GaN FETs, series regulators)
Design power distribution architecture at unit level and cross-strapping




Analyze and synthesize control loops for feedback systems
P-Spice simulations and worst-case analyses
Part stress analysis and support to FMEA
Interface with customers and suppliers; collaborate with project leaders, product lines, manufacturing and marketing/sales
Requisiti fondamentaliLaurea Magistrale or Master degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Consolidated HW power solutions design experience
Knowledge of space equipment standards and ECSS specifications
Experience in integration and test of power solutions
Experience with DC-DC digital control loops
Knowledge of Mentor DXD, ECSS standards, P-Spice/LT-Spice/Simplis
Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
English proficiency in writing and speaking
