Overview

In this role you will join Generali's Construction & Bonds and Risk Engineering & Loss Prevention within GC&C; Underwriting to support Construction insurance across Italy and international markets. You will contribute to the global underwriting strategy and manage portfolio performance, underwriting CAR, EAR, IDI, DSU and Decennial Liability risks. You will actively engage internal and external stakeholders across insurance and reinsurance and support product development initiatives. You help drive growth and profitability in a strategic, client-focused insurance environment.

Responsabilità

- Underwrite Construction risks and manage portfolio in line with the Engineering governance framework to hit top- and bottom-line targets
- Underwrite Construction risks including CAR, EAR, IDI, DSU and Decennial Liability
- Actively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders across insurance and reinsurance markets




- Support product development initiatives and contribute to underwriting strategy

Requisiti fondamentali

- University degree in an engineering discipline (Civil or Mechanical)
- At least five years’ experience as an Engineering/Construction Underwriter for corporate business or in a relevant engineering company
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in an international environment
- Ability to work independently and in teams with a commercial and negotiation mindset
- Proficiency in standard IT tools and practical experience with underwriting systems
