The role is focused on expediting orders by closely monitoring suppliers' manufacturing progress, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and supporting project execution.
The Expediter collaborates with Project Teams, Quality, Logistics, and Suppliers, and reports directly to the Expediting Department Manager.
/ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliManage assigned purchase orders, ensuring their execution in compliance with contractual conditions and in coordination with the Expediting Department Manager /liliMonitor suppliers' progress remotely, ensure timely submission of progress reports, track delivery schedules, and update the company management systems /liliOrganize and attend suppliers' workshop visits to verify manufacturing progress /liliPrepare and issue visit and expediting reports, identifying delays, non-conformities, or critical issues, and propose corrective actions to prevent schedule impacts /liliProvide regular updates and feedback to Project Teams and Management on suppliers' performance and progress /liliPromptly report any critical issues or production deviations to Project Managers /liliFacilitate the exchange of missing or incomplete technical and commercial information between internal departments and suppliers /liliCoordinate with the Quality Engineer to properly plan and execute inspection and testing activities /liliVerify temporary packaging and quantities to be shipped /liliCoordinate material pick-up dates with the Logistics Department /liliAssist Customer Expediters during suppliers' workshop visits /liliCoordinate incoming materials with the Material Manager and warehouse /liliEnsure that subcontracted materials are delivered to suppliers on time /li /ulh3What we ask for /h3ulliHigh School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering /liliExperience in a similar role /liliBasic knowledge of materials and their properties used in engineering and manufacturing processes /liliStrong planning and reporting skills, including the ability to schedule expediting activities and prepare effective reports /liliKnowledge of logistics processes, including materials handling, packaging, shipping, Incoterms, international documentation, customs and insurance regulations /liliKnowledge of CRM and/or ERP systems (e.g. SAP), MS Office, and in-house developed software /li /ulh3Technical Skills /h3ulliAbility to read and understand technical drawings and datasheets for plants or machinery /liliKnowledge of packaging and transportation systems for domestic and international deliveries /liliKnowledge of quality requirements for mechanical and electrical components (e.g. ASME, Eurocodes, PED, ISO) /liliKnowledge of welding disciplines and painting systems is considered a plus /liliGood command of English, both written and spoken /liliWillingness to travel /li /ulh3What we offer /h3ulliThe opportunity to contribute to UpstreamTAT - Operations activities with a direct impact on business performance /liliA dynamic and international environment where ideas are valued and innovation is encouraged /liliContinuous learning opportunities through training, exposure to new technologies and cross-functional collaboration.
