YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESLead procurement activities within NPI and innovation projects, ensuring full procurement contribution to successful product development and industrializationAct as the primary procurement representative within cross-functional product development teamsProvide functional leadership and guidance to NPI procurement buyers on sourcing strategies and supplier engagement modelsPromote and actively engage interplay with commodity teams to ensure effective execution of commodity strategies since the early stages of the projectsDrive early supplier involvement during product design phases to identify cost optimization, standardization and innovation opportunitiesEnsure procurement integration from the earliest project stages, supporting design-to-cost, target costing, value engineering and multi-sourcing initiativesCoordinate with commodity teams supplier nomination, qualification and onboarding activities for new products and technologiesManage all project procurement-related interfaces between R&D, Engineering, Project Management, and OperationsMonitor procurement readiness for product launches, including supplier capacity, tooling, lead times, material availability and risk mitigation plansLead procurement risk assessments for innovation projects and define mitigation strategies together with Commodity Managers,
