ppIn this role you will help drive the curation and development of high-quality oncology journals within Springer's Journals group.
You will act as the main publishing contact for Editors-in-Chief, Society partners, and Editorial Boards, coordinating meetings and strategic journal plans.
You'll identify opportunities to refresh boards, optimize manuscript flows, and ensure ethical compliance.
You join a global, research-focused publisher and contribute to advancing discovery through rigorous, accessible publishing.
/pulliBuild and maintain relationships with Editors-in-Chief, Society contacts, Editorial Board Members and stakeholders; coordinate Editorial Board meetings /liliDevelop and refresh Editorial Boards; support recruitment of diverse, high-quality members /liliResolve queries via email/phone/in person; ensure timely responses and elevate when needed /liliCollaborate across teams to deliver on journal plans and strategic development /liliPrioritize journals for development and execute strategic plans with line manager /liliDevelop market intelligence on fields and hot topics to identify journal opportunities /liliRepresent journals to ensure indexing and open access targets are met /liliMonitor open access levels and implement related development strategies /liliOversee peer review data to optimize manuscript flow and address delays with Editorial Office and editors /liliMaintain journal records and oversee editor/society contracts, renewals, and honoraria /liliEngage in business development by representing Springer Nature at conferences /liliInterest and understanding of publishing business /liliHighly customer focused /liliExcellent communication and influencing skills /liliStrong organizational skills with attention to detail /liliTakes ownership to drive and complete tasks /liliProven ability to meet deadlines /liliExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills /liliAbility to adapt quickly to change /liliHigh level of computer literacy /liliAbility to work cooperatively with colleagues at all levels /li /ulpIn this role you will help drive the curation and development of high-quality oncology journals within Springer's Journals group.
