OverviewIn this role you will design and govern hybrid application architectures across shipboard data centers, shore platforms, and cloud environments, with AWS as the preferred platform.
You will translate business goals into scalable, secure solutions aligned with Costa and Carnival standards, delivering integrated architectures and roadmaps.
You will lead collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and system integrators to ensure high quality, cost-aware delivery.
This is a hands-on architect role that shapes digital capabilities across the enterprise.

ResponsabilitàDesign end-to-end architectures across shipboard data centers, shore platforms, and cloud environments
Translate business requirements into solution architectures, integration models, and implementation roadmaps
Ensure availability, performance, scalability, security, compliance, and cost efficiency of solutions
Design cross-domain solutions (ships, shore, cloud) addressing connectivity, latency, data synchronization, and resilience
Apply enterprise architecture principles and Carnival standards; design APIs, events, and batch integrations
Guide delivery teams,



evaluate technologies and vendors, embed security-by-design and FinOps considerations
Foster collaboration across teams, vendors, and system integrators to ensure quality and consistency of solutions
Requisiti fondamentali5+ years of experience in application, solution, or cloud architecture or related enterprise technology design
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
Proven experience designing hybrid cloud/on-premises solutions
Strong AWS architecture skills (multi-account models); Azure and Entra ID considered a plus
Solid integration and data expertise (APIs, event-driven patterns, batch integrations, data synchronization, distributed design)
Knowledge of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate, C4) and containers/Kubernetes is a plus; AWS Solutions Architect certification appreciated
Excellent communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Fluent English; strong documentation and ability to balance technical quality, business value, cost, security, and delivery constraints
