Joining the Sport & Lifestyle Merchandising team at Diadora HQ, the intern will support the Lifestyle Footwear Merchandiser across all strategic and operational activities related to range planning, collection development, and commercial management.

This internship offers a hands-on experience within the sneaker and lifestyle footwear market, providing full visibility into the product life cycle—from trend analysis and assortment planning to Go-To-Market execution and showroom setup.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to and working alongside the Lifestyle Footwear Merchandiser, the candidate will be responsible for:

Market Analysis & Range Planning:

- Assist in building line plans aligned with the category's strategic direction and business goals, analysing sales trends to support competitive range building.
- Help identify and flow compelling assortments tailored by distribution channel and tier to support the Go-To-Market strategy.

Product Development & Financial Tracking:

- Assist in partnering with the Product Development team during collection development to ensure alignment with target costs and price positioning.
- Support category profitability (gross margin)



by monitoring product mix and accurate pricing strategies.
- Assist in generating category forecasts and demand projections.

Operations, Data Entry & Commercial Support:

- Manage accurate data entry and maintain updated line plan information within the company's ERP system.
- Assist in showroom setup for pre-line reviews, sales meetings, and commercial presentations.
- Collaborate on creating product catalogues and sales materials that highlight key seasonal stories.

Key Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Highly collaborative, organized, proactive, and process-oriented with strong team-working abilities.
- Consumer-focused with a strong passion for the sport, lifestyle, and sneaker culture.
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken), French is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Monthly Allowance

- €700 for Veneto residents;
- €600 for non-Veneto residents, with free company co-living space (private bedroom with shared common areas).
