The Experience
Based in Rome, this is a Specialist Account Executive role. Slack, part of Salesforce, is the system of engagement for the Agentic Enterprise — the layer where employees, AI agents, and enterprise data meet to get work done. In this role, you'll run a high-velocity book of accounts, combining fast discovery conversations with a disciplined sales process to drive new and expanding Slack business, while partnering closely with Salesforce Core Account Executives to unlock opportunities across your territory.
What You'll Actually Be Doing

- Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pipeline generation through negotiation and close — across a high volume of parallel, shorter-cycle deals.

- Build relationships with business and departmental leaders, positioning Slack's AI capabilities (including Enterprise Search, an AI-powered search tool, and Slackbot, Slack's AI assistant) as the solution to their challenges.

- Partner with Salesforce Core Account Executives and Solution Engineers to co-sell, demo, and tailor solutions across your territory.





- Develop ROI-driven business cases that ground Slack AI recommendations in measurable productivity and cost outcomes.

You're Our Person If...

- You are fluent in Italian and English.

- You have a proven track record as a quota-carrying SaaS sales professional, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.

- You can manage a large, high-velocity pipeline with strong time management and forecasting discipline.

- You have exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor value propositions to customer needs.

Even Better If...

- You have experience selling collaboration, productivity, or enterprise software solutions.

- You have experience selling into Financial Services, Retail/Consumer, Manufacturing/Automotive, or Energy & Utilities.

- You have working familiarity with AI concepts — enough to self-serve a first-call demo of AI assistants and search tools.

- You've worked in team-selling environments, aligning with core Account Executives and partners.
