Education and Other Requirements

Education required: Master's Degree in Biotechnology, Engineering (Chemical), Pharmaceutical Chemistry or related field. Other requirements: Understanding of Laboratory operations and EHS principles. Good communication skills, ability to work in transversal team. Proactive, motivated, and multitasking mindset. AI tools oriented. Very good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Good written and spoken English. Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Sensitive to the needs of diversified ethnic groups with the ability to build rapport across the spectrum.

What will you do and learn

Within the GVGH Laboratory Operations group the intern will learn operational activities supporting GVGH laboratories and related documentation under the supervision of Lab Ops Head and Specialists. He/she will have the opportunity to interact with a high performing team, collaborate with Scientific Functions, Engineering, Maintenance, Facility, Procurement, Quality, TECH, EHS and External Contractors.

Under the supervision of GVGH Lab Ops Head and Specialists, the intern will acquire competences in:

- End-to-end Equipment & Pipette life-cycle management (e.g. LECS process, commissioning, decommissioning, preventive/corrective maintenance)
- Capital expenditure and Operating service management
- Electronic inventory and documents management
- Computerized Systems and data integrity support (e.g. ALCOA+ principles and its applications, Account management, liaising with Lab system & automation team)
- Facility and general service support
- EHS support (ext. contractors management, ACS, ECM, DUVRI, Biosafety requirements)
- End to end Logistic Operations (Inbound & outbound shipment)




- Active participation in a cross-functional meeting with the aim of ensuring proper follow-up within the Team/Functions
