Overview In this role you will drive vehicle integration for Hitachi Rail, focusing on electrical architecture, TCMS, traction characteristics, and functional integration. You will define architectures, develop specifications, and support testing within a fast-paced, international setting in Naples. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the lifecycle from design to validation, delivering subsystem integration for railway vehicles.

Responsabilità

- Definition of High, Medium and Low voltage electrical architecture documents
- Definition TCMS vehicle architecture
- Definition of traction characteristics and development of driving simulations
- Development Functional Specifications for the functional integration of the vehicle
- Preparation of the vehicle test specifications
- Support for performance and functional tests of the vehicle

Requisiti fondamentali
- Experience in the railway industry; Train Systems Engineer background preferred




- RAMS concepts knowledge is advantageous
- Knowledge of regulations relating to on-board railway systems
- Proficiency with office software (Word, Excel)
- Understanding of electrotechnical, electronic, and system engineering processes and railway regulations throughout product lifecycle
- Experience with architectural, functional, and integration aspects of railway vehicle subsystems
- Familiarity with design tools (Autocad, Creo, Catia)
- Knowledge of IBM DOORS requirements management tool
- Knowledge of Engineering Processes and Railway Operations
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization and in a collaborative, fast-paced, international environment
