Thermal Analysis Engineer | Space & Aerospace

Our client is looking for a Thermal Analysis Engineer to join their engineering team and contribute to the development, qualification, and integration of advanced radar payload structures.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging engineering activities, collaborate with experts across multiple disciplines, and play a key role in the delivery of high-performance aerospace systems.

As a Thermal Analysis Engineer, you will:

- Perform thermal analyses of radar payload structures using hand calculations and tools such as Thermica/Systema, including the definition of thermo-optical properties, GMM, TMM, orbit.
- Interpret thermal analysis results to support design decisions and qualification activities, considering power loads from acquisition, heaters, and the environment.
- Collaborate closely with CAD, structural, systems, and electronics engineering teams to support mechanical design.
- Support environmental qualification campaigns, including Thermal Balance and Thermal Vacuum (TVAC) testing,



as well as pre-test analysis and post-test correlation.
- Prepare thermal analysis reports and qualification documentation.

What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in thermal analysis, ideally 5 years, within the space or aerospace sector.
- Strong knowledge of thermal analysis methods, thermal equations, and heat transfer principles.
- Experience with thermal analysis tools such as Thermica/Systema, ESATAN, Thermal Desktop, or equivalent.
- Proven ability to build, validate, and correlate thermal models with test results.
- Understanding of the product development lifecycle, from concept and design through qualification and delivery.
- Familiarity with environmental loads and qualification principles in accordance with ECSS standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
