Your Mission :

Do you combine a procurement mindset with technical curiosity and strong negotiation skills? We are looking for a Purchasing Construction Specialist to join our Procurement Team! You will support international retail openings, restylings and renovation projects by managing sourcing and tender activities across construction-related categories.

Working closely with Construction, Project Management, Design and Finance, you will contribute to building a competitive and reliable supplier base while driving cost optimisation, quality and procurement performance. From scouting new suppliers to managing competitive tenders and negotiations, you will combine technical understanding with commercial ownership to turn project requirements into effective sourcing strategies and measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities:

- Scout, screen and qualify new suppliers, contractors and subcontractors across domestic and international markets, building reliable supplier panels by category and geographical area.
- Manage end-to-end tenders across construction-related categories, including civil works, mechanical and HVAC systems, electrical systems, joinery and custom furniture, FF&E; and other technical categories.
- Prepare and issue RFQs and RFPs, coordinating tender documentation and ensuring suppliers quote against clear, consistent and comparable scopes.
- Review BOQs, technical specifications,



drawings and project documentation in collaboration with technical stakeholders, identifying and resolving scope gaps and commercial ambiguities.
- Analyse technical and commercial proposals, preparing bid comparisons, award evaluations and clear sourcing recommendations.
- Lead commercial negotiations to achieve the best overall balance of cost, quality, lead time, service, payment terms and contractual conditions.
- Partner with Construction, Design and Project Management to identify value engineering and cost optimisation opportunities, exploring alternative materials, technical solutions and supply routes without compromising required performance.
- Identify opportunities for standardisation, supplier consolidation, framework agreements and economies of scale across projects and markets.
- Support supplier selection, contract review and onboarding, ensuring compliance with procurement procedures and appropriate documentation and traceability.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery risks, project budgets and key commercial commitments, supporting corrective actions when required.
- Track savings, tender results and procurement KPIs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date sourcing and supplier documentation.

The Ideal Candidate:

- Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Management Engineering, Architecture, Economics or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Construction Procurement, Technical Purchasing, a General Contractor, Project Management or a comparable environment.
- Proven experience managing competitive tenders and commercial negotiations with contractors, technical suppliers and subcontractors.
- Solid ability to read and interpret BOQs, technical specifications, drawings, scopes of work and other construction documentation.
- Good understanding of construction-related categories, including civil works, mechanical and HVAC systems, electrical systems, joinery, custom furniture,



FF&E; and construction materials.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel for bid comparisons, cost analysis and supplier evaluations, combined with a good understanding of CAPEX purchasing and project budget control.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills, with a structured, data-driven and cost-conscious approach to decision-making.
- Highly organised and able to independently manage multiple tenders, suppliers and projects in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to identify value engineering, cost optimisation and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business functions, taking ownership and accountability for results.
- Experience in retail construction, fit-out, real estate or multi-site environments, as well as exposure to international projects and supplier markets, would be a strong plus.
- Familiarity with e-sourcing, procurement or tender management platforms would be an advantage.
- Professional working proficiency in English; additional languages would be a plus.
