For our Fizik Brand in Italy, we are seeking for a Product Manager responsible for managing and developing the assigned brand’s product range, identifying new market opportunities and leading new product development projects.This role will play a crucial in defining the product strategy, from market research and opportunity identification through to defining the product USP, requirements, and specifications. The position will also contribute to pricing strategy and go-to-market planning. Additionally, the Product Manager will support the Marketing team in shaping product communication activities and market positioning.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct market and consumer trend analyses, monitor competitors, and identify emerging trends related to technologies, product specifications, and design.
- Define the product plan and identify new product opportunities that align with the brand and business strategies.
- Support stakeholders at the Group's international manufacturing sites in defining and implementing product plans tailored to their local markets.
- Create briefs for new products that include technical specifications, design criteria, cost estimates, sustainability considerations, and timeline requirements.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and all relevant departments to ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met.
- Research innovative technologies and materials, and evaluate potential design and manufacturing partnerships to ensure alignment with the brand strategy.
- Conduct annual quantitative and qualitative range analyses in collaboration with the Brand and Business teams.
- Coordinate the design process with both internal and external designers.
- Collaborate with the R&D; team and Brand Manager to manage the product investment budget for assigned categories.
- Continuously analyze product BOMs to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement in collaboration with technical teams.
- Define and participate in testing programs for both new and existing products.
- Manage relationships and address the specific needs of sponsored athletes and teams.




- Conduct on-bike product testing to support product development activities.
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to develop product communication materials (product manuals, packaging, technical information, etc.) and actively contribute to go-to-market planning.
- Deliver continuous product training and updates to the sales team.
- Attend trade shows and industry events.

YOUR SKILLS

- Product lifecycle and go-to-market management.
- Strong understanding of product technical features and key benefits.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to assigned product categories.
- Fluent English; a second language is considered a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong intercultural and interpersonal communication skills.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Management, Marketing, Industrial Design, Product Design, or an equivalent field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Product Management and/or Product Development roles within the sporting goods industry.

What We Offer

Permanent full-time employment with classification at Level 5 of the applicable Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL), with an indicative gross annual salary ranging from €40,000 to €45,000.

Compensation and job classification are determined according to structured, transparent and non-discriminatory criteria, taking into account the market positioning of the role, technical and interpersonal skills, previous experience, years of professional experience, and any qualifications, certifications or credentials relevant to the position.
