Position Summary

As a Configuration Engineer, you will work closely with the Configuration Engineers, Business Analysts, Product, Engineering, and QA teams to configure and deliver web and mobile applications.

Essential Job Functions

- Configure Clearion Web and Mobile applications using Clearion Studio Configuration tool and VS Code

- Implement, test, and maintain configuration solutions based on product requirements, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects

- Partner with Engineering, BA, and QA to test and validate configurations during product implementation

- Participate in requirements and business flow review sessions with BAs and Product team

- Collaborate with Customer Success, Business Analysts, Product, Engineering, and QA teams to provide configuration expertise and support

- Proactively identify and propose configuration and testing improvements, including opportunities to standardize and reuse common solutions across projects

- Maintain and continuously improve configuration and test documentation, usage guidelines and instructions to ensure team-wide transparency, knowledge sharing, and repeatability

- Support team knowledge sharing through participation in internal training sessions and peer reviews

- Participate in team meetings including daily standups, retrospectives, planning sessions, and other process-related discussions as an active and engaged team member

- Deliver configuration tasks on time, managing priorities effectively to meet project deadlines





- Proactively communicate blockers, risks, and delivery timelines to the team and relevant internal stakeholders

Ability to

- Configure software using Clearion Studio and VS Code with precision and attention to detail

- Apply QA mindset to test and validate implemented configurations, ensuring they meet quality standards before delivery

- Troubleshoot and debug configuration-related issues methodically

- Work independently with minimal supervision while keeping stakeholders informed

- Adapt to changes in configuration tooling and product roadmap priorities

Requirements

Skills & Experience:

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in web and/or mobile application quality assurance, including functional and regression testing

- Hands-on skills with DevTools, HTML, XML, JSON, and SQL

- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence

- Experience working in Agile environments

- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed, international team environment

- Upper-Level Intermediate English at a minimum (spoken and written)

- Detail-oriented and self-driven, with the ability to manage multiple configuration tasks simultaneously

- JavaScript knowledge and front-end development experience are a plus

- Familiarity with VS Code, Git, and Bitbucket is a plus

- 1-2 years of experience in configuring or supporting enterprise web/mobile applications is a plus
