Job Summary:

Our Business Analyst team focuses on:

- Helping our most complex users with the accounting of their cryptoassets and traditional finance investments, by collecting data from any source they use, transforming them to be compliant with software and regulators requirements, double-checking all calculations and results and providing them with full scale yearly reports that are ready to use for accounting and tax declaration purposes
- Analyzing the compliance and fiscal aspects of traditional finance instruments, blockchain and cryptocurrency world, monitoring any change in technology or regulation,



in order to always keep our software up to date and ready to incorporate new rules in a fast changing environment
- Analyzing our competitors to understand what we need in order to come out on top of the game

Responsibilities:

- Collect transactions and other data from users (via API keys and CSV files)
- Format CSV files to make them ready for use on the software
- Import formatted data into Finbooks on the users’ behalf
- Create yearly reports on stock, capital gains, income and others
- Analyze and understand market & industry regulations
- Analyze and understand competitors using public and internal domains, identifying market opportunities
- Write technical requirements the tech team can use to improve the product
- Detect bugs and issues on the product for a faster resolution and smaller user impact
- Understand product users through direct engagement, market research and customer surveys
- Manage the relationship with our users with videocalls and emails

Qualifications:

- Advanced knowledge of the blockchain environment
- Advanced knowledge of cryptocurrencies
- Advanced knowledge of the main crypto use cases (staking, mining, liquidity pools)
- Advanced knowledge of all traditional finance instruments (from stocks to derivatives)
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Spreadsheet




- Very good written & spoken English communication skills
- Knowledge of the editing and creation of CSV files is a plus
- Spanish/German/French language skills (spoken and written) are considered a plus
- Knowledge of basic accounting and fiscal rules is a plus
- Knowledge of taxation aspects of both crypto and tradfi investments is a plus
