Primary Responsibilities:

The chemical company assessor performs assessments according to the bluesign® criteria as well as the follow-up for achieving compliance with the bluesign® criteria

Specific Responsibilities:

- Preparation of company assessments according to the bluesign® criteria
- Pre-evaluation of preparation documents
- Company assessments onsite with report writing and related evaluations
- Follow-up of roadmap for achieving compliance with the bluesign® criteria (implementation process)
- Actualization and maintenance of the business process leading IT tool
- Perform follow up assessments to monitor continuous improvement at company




- Project work as needed and agreed

Qualifications

- Educational background: engineering/ natural science/ technical degree, ideally textile related (e.g. textile engineer, chemical engineer, environmental scientist or similar)
- Knowledge in the field of product stewardship, classification and labelling as well as regulatory affairs
- Knowledge in the field of chemistry and/ or plastic industry manufacturing
- Knowledge in the fields of environment, health and safety and prior experience with auditing
- Professional experience requested
- Good English skills (especially written)
- Fluent in Italian

- Ability to work under pressure and with good time management
- Ability to exercise good and fact-based assessments
