Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

As a Senior Regulatory Affairs Expert, you will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance and product stewardship across our European operations. Your main responsibilities include:

- Supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Regulatory Affairs and Product Stewardship systems.
- Monitoring and assessing regulatory developments related to chemical products, environmental protection, health, and safety requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, including product classification, labeling, packaging, and registration requirements.
- Providing regulatory guidance and support to various business functions and production sites across Europe.
- Acting as a point of contact for authorities, industry associations, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Supporting REACH compliance activities and other regulatory initiatives within the organization.
- Participating in REACH consortia and external industry working groups relevant to our product portfolio.
- Collaborating closely with international and cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of regulatory processes, standards, and best practices.

Anforderungen

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Toxicology, or a related scientific discipline.
- At least five years of professional experience in Regulatory Affairs within an industrial or chemical manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of chemical regulations, including REACH, CLP, and other relevant European legislation.
- Knowledge of toxicology and ecotoxicology would be an advantage.




- Experience with Dangerous Goods regulations is considered a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in Italian and English; additional language skills such as German, French, or Dutch are advantageous.
- The ability to communicate and implement regulatory requirements effectively across different stakeholders.
- A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in an international and intercultural environment.
- Experience working within a matrix organization and across multiple locations.
- A valid work permit and the right to work and reside in Italy.
