You'll set guardrails, target states, and decision frameworks to drive modularity, lifecycle management, interoperability, and alignment with business capabilities.
You will lead architecture governance without direct delivery ownership, partnering with IT and business units to balance consistency and local needs.

ResponsabilitàDirect the development of enterprise domain architecture and processes to embed change across the organization.
Establish guardrails for application modularity, buy vs build, SaaS vs custom development, and lifecycle management.
Develop and maintain ABB-wide architecture best practices, standards, and guidelines across responsibilities.
Assess the existing IT landscape and define future state architecture, ensuring compatibility with solutions, infrastructure, and strategy; oversee design reviews and cross-domain decisions.




Guide enterprise application portfolio management with business and IT representatives, defining criteria for investment, modernization, replacement, decommissioning and consolidation.
Monitor and report architecture landscape compliance and flag cross-ABB planning and road-mapping implications.
Requisiti fondamentali10+ years in application or enterprise architecture roles in large, decentralized, or federated organizations
Proven track record in application modernization and portfolio rationalization
Experience influencing architecture without direct delivery ownership
Expertise in architecture patterns (monolith, microservices, modular monoliths), SaaS and COTS integration, domain-led design, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments
Strong architectural judgement and pragmatic decision-making
Ability to balance enterprise consistency with local setup
