Overview
As Commercial Director Europe you will lead the food preservation and protection business across Continental Europe, focusing on bakery customers and extending to broader food and beverage applications. You will own the regional commercial strategy and act as the senior relationship owner for Tier 1 accounts, shaping pipeline, revenue and margins. You will build and coach a regional KAM/technical sales team and collaborate with R&D;, service and regulatory functions. This role offers impact across Europe with direct, end-user-led relationships and strategic cross-functional influence.

Responsabilità
Lead and grow the food preservation and protection business across Continental Europe, with bakery focus
Own and deliver the regional commercial strategy aligned to direct end-user relationships
Manage Tier 1 bakery and food manufacturer accounts as senior contact
Develop territory and key account plans with pipeline, forecasting and revenue/margin delivery
Lead and train a team of Key Account Managers / technical sales professionals




Collaborate with R&D;, technical service and regulatory teams to position and support solutions
Transition distributor-served accounts to direct relationships where appropriate
Represent the company at industry trade shows, events and conferences across Europe
Provide input to demand planning, pricing and margin management and report performance to leadership
Contribute to broader European commercial strategy and 90-day action planning
Requisiti fondamentali
20+ years in the food ingredients sector with direct experience in preservation, protection, enzyme systems or shelf-life technologies for bakery or beverage manufacturers
Detailed knowledge of the bakery sector (industrial and artisanal)
Strategic, curious and business-driven leadership
Hands-on, accountable style capable of moving from strategy to account execution
Fluent in English
Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or Chemistry
MBA credentials an asset
