To support our business objectives and the continued transformation of manufacturing in the Marche region, we are looking for production leaders who combine strong execution with a forward-looking approach to people, technology and continuous improvement.

Reporting hierarchically to the Plant Director, the Production Manager is accountable for the end-to-end management of production activities within the assigned plant perimeter. The role ensures that production plans are executed safely, on time and at the expected standards of quality, service,costand efficiency.

The Production Manager leads direct and indirect production teams, organizes resources and capabilities, drives daily performance and problem solving, and works closely with HSE, Quality, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Maintenance, HR and Controlling. The role will also contribute to the evolution of the Marche industrial network by supporting new technologies, digitalization, skills development and cross-site collaboration where required.

Key responsibilities

Production planning and execution

- Manage and supervise the complete production process against the agreed production schedule, ensuringtimelyexecution and cost effectiveness.
- Translate demand and production plans into clear daily and weekly priorities,allocatingpeople,equipmentand materials accordingly.
- Monitor production progress and constraints,



adjusting schedules and resources whenrequiredand escalating risks with clear recovery actions.
- Ensure robust daily management routines, visual performance control, productionreportingand disciplined follow-up ofactions.

Safety, quality and compliance

- Lead production activities with safety as thefirst priority, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements, plantstandardsand safe-working practices.
- Promote proactive risk identification, incident prevention, ergonomics and a visible safety culture across production teams.
- Ensure implementation of quality-control programs, processstandardsand product requirements, working with Quality to address deviations and prevent recurrence.
- Support environmental performance, responsible resource use and compliance with the plant’s quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems.
- Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Performance, cost and continuous improvement

- Deliver plant targets for safety, quality, service level, productivity, efficiency,scrapand cost in coordination with other plant functions.
- MonitorproductionKPIs,identifygaps and lead structured problem solving, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Contribute to budgeting,forecastingand cost control by understanding the main production cost drivers and implementing improvement actions.
- Lead an Autonomous Management (AM), Workplace Organization (WO)or comparablecontinuous-improvementpillar within the plant’s World Class Manufacturing organization.
- Drive 5S, autonomous maintenance, standard work, wastereductionandcontinuous-improvementinitiatives, ensuring that improvements are sustained.
- Strategic Planning: develop and implement long-term strategies to achieve company objectives.

People leadership and capability building

- Lead, supervise,coachand motivate direct and indirect production employees, setting clear expectations and reinforcing accountability and collaboration.
- Plan workforce requirements and organize shifts and production resources in line with volumes, operationalprioritiesand skills availability.
- Own and continuously develop productionskillsmatrices, polyvalenceplansand training priorities in partnership with HR and the People Development pillar.
- Build a strong pipeline of production capabilities through on-the-job coaching, structureddevelopmentand knowledge transfer.
- Promote an inclusive, high-performance environment in which employees are encouraged to contribute ideas, raiseconcernsand participatein improvement.

Equipment reliability and cross-functional coordination

- Coordinate production-owned routine maintenance and repair activities, ensuring effective cooperation with the Maintenance function and clear escalation of technical issues.
- Partner with Logistics to ensure material availability and flow, with Industrial Engineering on methods and capacity, and with Quality on process capability and conformity.
- Support the industrialization and ramp-up of new products, equipment and technologies, ensuring production readiness,



effectivetrainingand stable performance.
- Contribute to plant and regional initiatives involving digital manufacturing,automationand the intelligent use of production data.
- Share best practices and collaborate across the Marche sites to strengthen operational resilience,flexibilityand common standards.

Experience and qualifications

- Master’s degree in Engineeringor a comparable technical discipline.
- At least 7 to 10 years of solid experience in production management or a similar manufacturing leadership role.
- Demonstrated responsibility for production teams and performance in a complex industrial environment.
- Practical command of production-management tools, including daily production meetings, visual management, production reporting, structured problem solving, skills matrices, 5S and autonomous maintenance.
- Good knowledge of health,safetyand environmental requirements applied to production processes.
- Working knowledge of cost and performance accounting,productionKPIs and the main drivers of manufacturing efficiency.
- Experience with World Class Manufacturing, leanmanufacturingor another structuredcontinuous-improvementmethodology.
- Knowledge of production processes such as metal stamping, welding, enameling, painting, polyurethane injection,assemblyand automation is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of time-and-method studies and capacity analysis.
- Fluency in Italian and professionalproficiencyin English, both written and spoken.

The compensation package will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills and the scope of the role, applying objective and gender‑neutral criteria. We believe that transparency and fairness are essential to building trust, fostering inclusion and ensuring equal opportunities for everyone.As a reference, for such position we offer a salary ranging between 52.000 € and 77.000 €.

You will also be part of the Ariston Group short-term incentive program. This position is covered by the CCNL Metalmeccanici Industria.
