Overview
As a Civil Engineer in Wood's Life Sciences division in Milan, you will design industrial pharmaceutical facilities, covering architectural and process layouts, concrete and steel structures, pipe racks, and finishing works.
You'll coordinate internal and external resources, select contractors, and monitor on-site civil activities.
You'll interact with clients to keep projects on track and address challenges, contributing to exciting, large-scale pharma and biotech projects across Europe.

Responsabilità
Concept, basic and detail design engineering for assigned projects
Prepare/ review architectural layouts, finishing schedules, structural documents, and related technical specifications
Coordinate discipline and external resources, monitor workloads and deliverables against schedule
Interface with external resources, other disciplines,



departments and clients
Provide project management support to projects, managers, and executives
Collaborate within a team, share workload, and cover during absences
Contribute to quality and environmental management systems (ISO) and engineering change control processes
Requisiti fondamentali
MSc / BSc degree in Civil engineering
2 years of experience in a Civil engineering role
Experience in pharmaceutical sector preferred
Knowledge of REVIT software and BIM methodology
Knowledge of TECLA software is a plus
Competencies in sustainability design
Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams
Understanding of risk-based design, safe plant layouts, quality management and ECA processes
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills
Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written)
Eligible to work in Italy
Willingness to work on assignments at clients' or Wood sites/offices
