Requirements

- Professional experience of at least3 yearsin the domain ofAIT.
- Confidence withSpace Business documentation, such asSatellite/Payload/Equipment User Manual’s,Architecture,DesignandTest Requirements,Procedures,Assembly Drawingsand similar.
- Understanding ofissues, identification ofroot causes,definitionofsolutions.
- Goodinterpersonal skillsboth internally withcolleaguesand externally with thecustomer.
- Goodreportingcapabilities and easycommunicationto theManagement.




- Availability to execute work also inlong term missions, as per theEnvironmentalorLaunch Campaign.
- Available to work inmultiple shiftsor atweekendsandbank holidays, when necessary for the achievement ofProject milestones.
- Knowledge of thequality principleswhich apply to theSpace Business, inside and outside aClean Room.
- Use of theMS Office tools, includingMS Project. Use ofCAD Viewersoftware.

Responsibilities

As an AIT Engineer, you will:

- Execute Integration & Test activities of medium-sized telescopes, including opto-mechanical subsystems, both in-house and on-site.
- Conduct optical alignment and calibration, working closely with optical and system engineers to ensure high-precision setup.
- Prepare AIT documentation, including test procedures, integration workflows, reports and as-run procedures.
- Handle critical assemblies, including optical mounts, structural elements, and Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
- Participate in night observation campaigns and system verification tests under real sky conditions.
- Support technical reviews and meetings, contributing to design improvement feedback based on hands-on test results.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams for the setup and support of site installation missions globally.
