It’s no easy task, but nothing rewarding ever is. /p h3What you’ll do: /h3 pIn this position, you'll be the frontline face of Santos — building and maintaining trusted relationships with landholders and community stakeholders to secure timely land access and build sustainable relationships, enabling low-risk progression of petroleum activities. /p pThis is a field-based role across our Western Queensland operations, on a 2on 2off roster, FIFO from Brisbane or Local. /p h3Key accountabilities include: /h3 ul liDeveloping and maintaining working relationships with landholders prior to Santos engagement, informing them of proposed activities and likely impacts on their business /li liProviding field-based and community input into land access planning and scheduling, land use management, rehabilitation, and related community issues /li liDelivering information to landholders and community groups,



advocating and explaining Santos' business deliverables and land access processes /li liSupporting other Santos departments in conducting negotiations with landholders and, where necessary, dispute resolution discussions /li liAssessing and approving Site Permit Requests against conditions in relevant Conduct and Compensation Agreements and the Land Access Code /li liEnsuring agreed terms of access are adhered to during construction and operations phases of natural gas infrastructure /li liMaintaining landholder relationships by understanding and overseeing the delivery of Santos' commitments /li liActivating community sponsorship arrangements and providing support to the Community Engagement Team for local events /li liExecuting all activities in compliance with Santos environmental, health and safety policies /li /ul h3What you’ll bring: /h3 pYou will be experienced in: /p ul liA strong understanding of rural communities, rural land practices, and the agricultural sector /li liHigh-level interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to have honest, confidential conversations across diverse audiences /li liHigh-level workload prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands across multiple landholders and projects /li liPetroleum industry experience is preferred but not essential — we value strong relationship skills and rural understanding equally /li /ul h3What you’ll get: /h3 pHere, you’ll be amongst high-calibre people and get to work on industry-leading projects.
