A key part of this role is understanding the full scope of product creation from design concept to production. A Materials Developer II is a versatile, highly creative problem solver and a forward-thinking person who thrives in a fast-paced environment. They are an active participant in cross functional discussions, leading the team with technical recommendations. You will review prototype materials and samples, shepherding the styles through the creation process while meeting gates and dates to ensure on-time production. /p ul liDevelop scalable materials for consumers that meet performance, You are appointed as a dedicated Material Developer to build a forward-looking materials and trims collection that strengthens our long-term product differentiation.



/li liCollaborate with key stakeholders on sampling and prototyping of materials; communicate and address key issues/challenges during development and plan accordingly to deliver proven and tested materials on time. /li liContributes to and executes on material best practices, standards, and educational tools. /li liCommunicate with vendors effectively to foster a culutre of creativity and quality-first thinking. /li liKeep abreast of market trends, new technology and consumer preferences. /li /ul h3WHAT YOU BRING /h3 ul liGood understanding in textile science, product design, or related field. /li liTwo years’ additional product creation experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. /li liDevelopment experience in the FTW industry, which includes the FTW development process from inception through production including construction, materials, costing, print / graphics, manufacturing and quality. /li liUnderstanding of product specs and footwear construction along with the ability to interpret design intent and offer alternative material solutions. /li liAbility to act as a technical resource, mentor others and lead initiatives through high energy and positive influence. /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to excel in a deadline driven environment. Ability to manage multiple projects. /li liStrong problem solving and decision-making skills with attention to detail and process orientation. /li liProficiency with MS Office programs, confidence using Adobe Illustrator and familiarity with Design CADs /li liAbility to travel 20% (domestic and international) /li /ul pThis role will be online until October 6th. /p pThe annual base salary for this position generally ranges from €38.400,00 to €57.600,000.
