ph3Mechanical Project Designer /h3 pSalary: €40,000 monthly /p pAzienda: Tenova Tipo Lavoro: Tempo pieno Italy /p pWe are looking for a Mechanical Project Designer willing to join our Melt Shops Team, with strong passion for technology and motivation to work within a multicultural and challenging environment. You will work in an international environment characterized by high technology complexity. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign in 2D and in 3D format, as mandatory skills. Consider customer requirements, timing target, quality and reliability targets, cost optimization and design for manufacturability in all new equipment design; /li liPrepare layouts showing to Client how and where the equipment will be installed in their plant; /li liDevelop all mechanical aspects of a project; prepare and/or verify basic and detail engineering, both internal and external, according to the level of responsibility; /li liEstimate, during basic engineer phases, the weights for structures/equipment to better fit and optimize with the technical design requirements. Develop bills of materials; /li liPerform the basic/detail engineering elaboration about input data received (from Project Engineer, Mechanical Dept. Manager, Process Engineer, RD dept., Proposal dept.); /li liManage engineering external studio, taking responsibility too as timing and schedule proper progress; /li liDesign equipment in compliance with all applicable regulation; define the project standard specification in cooperation with the Project Engineer as well as with Contract targets; /li liUnderstand, develop and review design of civil works for the installation of the machines; /li liPerform, if necessary,



on-site inspections from site surveys up to the ascertaining of the document "as built". /li liPerform and review basic/detail engineering. Convert 2D drawings into 3D models and creation of drawings from 3D models and their verification analysis (ex. FEM); /li liDetailed knowledge about the most important manufacturing processes adopted in mechanical industry in order to choose the most appropriate manufacturing procedure; /li liParticipate, when necessary, to inspections and meetings at suppliers/ sites/ production/ customer/ manufacturing premises; /li liGenerate scope of work specifications that define the work included, work excluded and battery limits along with technical requirements for each equipment package or components; /li liManage and supervise the execution of tasks, which have been outsourced. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's Degree in Industrial Mechanical Design or Secondary School Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (with at least 5 years of experiences); /li liExperience in mechanical design is a must; /li liKnowledge of Autodesk software as AutoCad and Inventor is a must; /li liKnowledge of the main technological transformation processes for the production of semi-finished products (CNC milling, sheet metal bending, laser cutting, welding,
