In this role you will support the Rolling Stock Engineering Department to develop electrical systems for railway vehicles. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into electrical designs and validation activities. The role emphasizes simulation, integration, and compliance with railway standards, offering hands-on exposure to end-to-end project execution. You will contribute to energy-efficient solutions while collaborating in an international, fast-paced environment. Responsabilità
- Prepare System Requirements Specifications (SyRS) for electrical components
- Analyze supplier technical documentation
- Create and verify electrical installation/integration drawings and specifications
- Run simulations to optimize electrical system performance and energy efficiency
- Lead design reviews with internal teams and suppliers
- Participate in system test activities and review type test reports
- Support manufacturing, testing, and validation phases
- Review design documentation with customers and suppliers
- Develop electrical schematics with mechanical teams for electromechanical integration
- Prepare BoM for electrical schematics
- Ensure compliance with input requirements, railway regulations, and project constraints
- Prepare documentation for vehicle approval and support homologation
Requisiti fondamentali
- Basic knowledge of electrotechnics and electronics
- Basic knowledge of design verification and validation methodologies
- Basic knowledge of electrical CAD tools (E3 preferred)
- Basic knowledge of electrical components (relays, circuit breakers, cables, connectors, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of electrical schematics design
- Basic knowledge of electrical machine design principles
- Basic knowledge of electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., Ansys Maxwell, Motor-CAD)
- Basic knowledge of thermal and electromagnetic analysis
- Good knowledge of office automation software
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, international environment
- Good organizational, teamwork, problem-solving, and results-driven mindset
- Ability to liaise with internal/external stakeholders
- Ability to work in project teams with minimal supervision
- Availability for occasional short-term national and international travel
- English proficiency (B2 level) as per requirement
