ph3Responsibilities /h3 pThe EMEA Service Power Technical Support Manager is overall responsible for the technical aspects and strengths of our EMEA Service Power delivery and has to ensure that technologies contribute to reinforcing our overall business strategy. This includes: /p ul liEnsure the appropriate Health and Safety standards are implemented and respected. /li liEnsuring best-in-class technical support and incident resolution practices, possibly leveraging experience from other and more mature industries, to optimize customer service level and field efficiency. /li liStrengthening regional technical team competencies in the core areas of the business and fostering technical maturity across EMEA Power Service Operations. /li liEnsure the technical escalated cases across EMEA are timely assigned to the team and addressed by the team to achieve best in class resolution lead time. /li liDevelop new competencies or new technical disciplines where appropriate to achieve the service business objectives. /li liSupport the technical aspects of the service offering and contribute developing new service products. /li liActively manage the technical aspects of life cycle of the installed base. /li liCooperate with academy and central technical support to ensure training plans match the training needs of the service organization. /li liAssure the coordination of warranty cases technical approval and review. /li liFollow the RCAR activity around EMEA being the interface between MU, central technical support and Quality teams. /li liManage the flow of Field Change Notices and relevant actions EMEA is concerned. /li liEnsure seamless cooperation of Service with Central Technical Support, Quality and RD to ensure continuous strengthening of product quality. /li liEnsure Service presence and voice during New Product Development (NPDI) process. /li liCoordinate the EMEA readiness process to introduce new products in field and manage tech support forums to spread the knowledge around Tech Community. /li liFoster and lead the implementation of the Regionalized Tech support structure. /li /ul h3Job Description /h3 h3ESSENTIAL ROLE FUNCTIONS: /h3 h3Responsibilities /h3 pThe EMEA Service Power Technical Support Manager is overall responsible for the technical aspects and strengths of our EMEA Service Power delivery and has to ensure that technologies contribute to reinforcing our overall business strategy. /li liCounter partners outside EMEA. /li liExecutive Management and functional representatives for Service and CoE organizations. /li liAcademy organization. /li liOperations and MKTG Service organizations. /li liWarranty admin team. /li liRegional operations directors and country Service managers. /li liCustomers. /li liTravel Required –approximately 25% /li /ul h3Position Eligibility Requirements /h3 ul liTravel Required –approximately 25% /li /ul h3Minimum Qualifications /h3 ul liGood knowledge and minimum 10 years of experience in the service industry, preferably with companies that have expanded their service strategy from vertical technical services to higher value added service solutions. /li liProven Power Management technical experience, also in demanding tech support environments. /li liUniversity electric-electronic or mechanical background. /li liAs a key member of the EMEA Service team he or she must also be a strategic thinker and a change agent with demonstrated influencing skills in a multi-national environment. /li liStrong managerial skills with the ability to work with local and remote organizations from different technical environments and backgrounds. /li liKnowledge and capability to understand specific applications in the Data Center, Telecom, and Edge segments. /li liStrong Communication skills. /li liFluent English speaker, other languages as Spanish, Italian, French or German would be a vantaggi. /li liMust be able to meet project deliverables under aggressive time deadlines. /li liAbility to effectively deal with a wide variety of competing demands. /li liInterviewing and listening skills - interact with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information. /li liWriting skills - to communicate information effectively to Customers, stakeholders and technical staff. /li liInterpersonal skills - to negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders. /li /ul h3Additional Required Attributes /h3 ul liMust be able to meet project deliverables under aggressive time deadlines. /li liAbility to effectively deal with a wide variety of competing demands. /li liInterviewing and listening skills - interact with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information. /li liWriting skills - to communicate information effectively to Customers, stakeholders and technical staff. /li liInterpersonal skills - to negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders. /li /ul pbPS: Candidates can be based in any country in EMEA /b /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
