ph3GRDQ Gum Base Industrialization Process Specialist /h3pSalary: €50,000 monthly /ppAzienda: Perfetti Van Melle /ppTipo Lavoro: Tempo pieno Italy /ph3Descrizione Lavoro - GRDQ Gum Base Industrialization Process Specialist /h3h3bMain Purpose of the role /b /h3pFor our GumBase production plant, we are looking for a new colleague who will join our RD team. /ppThe Industrialization Process Specialist leads key industrialization and process projects for gum base technologies, supporting scale-up, process optimization, and manufacturing implementation across global sites. /ppThe role acts as a critical link between RD, Engineering and Operations to ensure robust, efficient, and scalable processes while supporting innovation, quality, and business continuity. /ph3bWhat you will do /b /h3ulliLead scale-up of new gum base formulations and ingredients from lab/pilot scale to full industrial production; /liliDefine, validate and optimize process parameters; /liliSupport plant trials, ramp-up phases, troubleshooting, and process stabilization; /liliDrive improvements in process robustness, efficiency, quality, and cost; /liliSupport process simplification, new equipment integration, and standardization; /liliAct as technical interface between Research Development, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and suppliers /liliSupport manufacturing sites on trials, deviation management,



and continuous improvement initiatives; /liliShare best practices and technical learnings across global gum base units; /liliOwn industrialization workstreams within complex projects, including risk management, timelines, and reporting /liliEnsure accurate technical documentation and compliance with internal standards and procedures /liliSupport master data readiness, system alignment, and Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy. /li /ulh3bOur Perfect Candidate /b /h3ulliMaster's degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Materials Science, or related field; /lili5 years in industrialization, process engineering, or manufacturing support, experience in food or pharmaceutical related industries is preferred; /liliProven experience scaling processes from lab to industrial scale; /liliHands-on experience with plant trials and process validation; /liliExperience working within global, matrix organizations; /liliStrong knowledge of process engineering and material behavior; /liliFluent in English; /liliStructured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset; /liliSolid project management and prioritization skills; /liliClear communicator with strong ownership and accountability; /liliReadiness in mobility across global sites. /li /ulpThe position offers a gross annual salary between 45,000€ and 50,000€.
