The programmer will also engage with youth and youth serving providers to ensure there are holistic services and programs offered for Brampton youth. The position will require being present at the site locations 5 days a week and will include evenings and weekends to ensure that the youth hubs are operating as envisioned and planned. revenue and expenses. /li liCompile and review daily, weekly and sessional statistics and checklists /li liTimely follow-up on program related refund requests /li liAdherence to all mandated deadlines /li liParticipation in any quality assurance program /li liDevelop and monitor staff and volunteer schedules seasonally according to program needs /li liProactive planning of upcoming sessions /li liEnsure program plans are created, communicated, and available for all program staff /li liDocumentation of staff and volunteer trainings; ongoing monitoring of staff certifications, maintaining staff files and ensuring staff certifications remain current /li liEnsure all staff hiring packages completed in a timely manner /li /ul h3bCustomer Service and Community Development /b /h3 ul liTimely and appropriate follow-up with customer concerns, requests, and inquiries /li liLiaising with internal and external groups as required related to programs, services and special events /li liPlanning and delivering community special events in collaboration with facility and/or special events team. /li liDeliver strategies to increase customer recruitment and retention through continuous improvement of customer experience /li liIn collaboration with the coordinator, foster and maintain ongoing excellent relationships with community partners. /li /ul h3bProgram Development /b /h3 ul liOngoing research, acquiring knowledge and expertise related to industry trends pertinent to portfolio /li liLiaising with other facilities and lines of business to ensure a balanced consistent delivery of recreation programs /li liConduct program quality assurance through ongoing program visits and observations, customer engagement and participation experience and /li liAdhere to program development and brochure development processes /li liExecute action plans to meet targets and potential growth /li liAssist Recreation Coordinator with marketing and business plan /li liAttend school events, such as open houses, parent nights, and registration days, to support program participation and development /li /ul h3bBudget /b /h3 ul liMonitor and report on expenses and revenue actuals and forecast according to portfolio /li liPurchases and manage inventory of program supplies and materials /li /ul pbAquatics: /b Must possess and maintain current certifications as follows: /p ul liNational Lifeguard – Pool /li liStandard First Aid CPR C /li liAirway Management /li liLifesaving Instructors /li liLifesaving Swim Instructors /li liAquatic Supervisory Training or Aquatic Management Training /li libThe following certifications are considered an asset: /b /li liAdvanced Instructors /li liBronze Cross Examiner /li liFirst Aid Instructor/Examiner /li liNational Lifeguard Instructor/Examiner /li liAirway Management Instructor/Examiner /li liLifesaving Society Instructor Trainer /li liLifesaving Society Swim Instructor Trainer /li liPool Operators /li liAquatic Fitness Certification (e.g. CALA, Water Art or equivalent) /li /ul h3bFitness: /b /h3 ul liCurrent FIS or PTS certification with CanFit Pro and/or CSEP and/or equivalent certification with recognized affiliation /li /ul h3bGolf:
