ppDarwin Space are currently hiring for a Senior Hybrid Rocket Propulsion Engineer on behalf of a business in Italy. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliDevelop and optimise hybrid rocket propulsion systems. /liliModel and simulate combustion chamber and reactive combustion flows. /liliApply engineering methodologies to the design and analysis of reactive combustion systems. /liliSupport the development, integration and testing of larger-scale rocket engines. /liliTranslate simulation and analysis results into practical propulsion and hardware solutions. /liliWork closely with the wider propulsion and engineering team to deliver current development programmes. /li /ulh3What We’re Looking For /h3ulliProven professional experience with hybrid rocket propulsion.



/liliStrong understanding of combustion chamber flow and reactive combustion. /liliExperience with modelling and simulation of reactive combustion flows. /liliExperience applying simulation and analysis to real propulsion hardware and design decisions. /liliExperience working on larger-scale rocket engines or propulsion systems. /liliStrong engineering and design experience within an industrial environment. /liliEngineer or PhD-level qualification in aerospace, mechanical engineering, propulsion or a related field. /liliSeveral years of relevant professional/industrial experience. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
