Overview In this role you lead AML/CTF governance and oversight for the Generali Group, reporting to the Board. You shape the AML/CTF framework, policies, and standards and ensure their consistent application across Group entities. You manage governance reviews, regulatory interactions, and stakeholder communications to drive effective anti-financial crime controls.
You will work with cross-functional teams to translate complex laws into practical, scalable solutions. This is a mission-critical position for strengthening compliance and safeguarding the group's integrity at a global scale.
Responsabilità Identify new AML/CTF requirements through gap analysis and assess their group-wide impact Draft and maintain Group AML/CTF policies, guidelines, standards and technical measures Coordinate cascading of group standards to Group Entities Provide opinions to Business Functions and Local AFC teams on deviations, high-risk customers, and transactions Contribute to AML/CTF training strategy, maintain catalogue, and deliver sessions Conduct governance oversight reviews, issue findings and track remediation actions Propose and manage Group AML/CTF initiatives and define requirements for Group Projects Collaborate with Audit, Group Compliance, Risk Management and other stakeholders Prepare tailored reporting for Board, Corporate Bodies,
and committees Support AML/CTF investigations and analysis of potential SARs and reporting Manage and evolve the AFC Governance Framework across the Group Coordinate AML/CTF regulatory inspections with EU and Italian authorities Measure entity complexity to determine governance needs; supervise AFC perimeter and model Support AFC budgeting, monitoring and reporting activities Requisiti fondamentali ~ Master Degree in Economics or Law ~5-7 years' experience in international banking, financial institutions or consulting in AML/ACF teams or audit on AML topics ~ Good knowledge of EU and Italian AML/CTF regulations and international standards ~ Experience in AML governance, policy drafting and regulatory framework implementation ~ Experience dealing with supervisory authorities and regulatory inspections ~ Knowledge of SAR processes, KYC, CDD, transaction monitoring and financial crime risk management ~ Excellent stakeholder management, reporting and presentation skills ~ Ability to synthesize laws and regulations into practice ~ Ability to operate in a large financial group and build cross-functional relationships ~ Fluent in English (verbal and written); independent, collaborative attitude ~ Nice to have: CAMS/ICA certifications ~ Experience in AML teams of large financial groups and insurance sector ~ Italian and other languages (French, German) ~ stakeholder management ~ communication ~ independent working ~ AML/CTF governance, policy drafting, regulatory framework implementation ~ SAR processes, KYC, CDD, transaction monitoring, name screening ~ regulatory inspections coordination
