Are you an actor or musical theatre performer who loves working with children? Elizabeth Samuels Drama School is looking for an enthusiastic teacher to run our after-school acting and musical theatre classes at Rome International School, starting Tuesday 29 September.

About Us:

Elizabeth Samuels Drama School is a community of creatives dedicated to empowering children through drama. Founded by Samuel Davis, a trained actor and teacher, we run LAMDA acting and musical theatre programmes, preparing students aged 5-16 for exams with a British examination board.

The Role:

- Teach after-school acting and musical theatre classes to children aged 5-16
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 15:30-17:00 (please tell us which afternoons you can do)
- Prepare students for LAMDA exams using our lesson plans and materials
- Liaise with the school as needed
- Log safety and first-aid incidents and follow our safeguarding procedures
- Take part in safeguarding and first-aid training (full training provided)

What We're Looking For:

- Confident, fluent spoken English. Classes and exams are in English (an accent is absolutely fine)
- A background in acting, musical theatre or drama, ideally with experience of teaching children
- Reliable, friendly and energetic,



good at communicating, committed to our students and someone who values being part of a team
- Able to be at Rome International School by 15:30
- The right to work in Italy, and willing to obtain a criminal record certificate for working with children (certificato del casellario giudiziale, art. 25-bis)

Location: All classes take place at Rome International School. Please do not contact Rome International School. This position is with Elizabeth Samuels Drama School, and our classes are held at Rome International School.

Pay:

25 euros per hour. Full training is provided, with opportunities for additional classes.

Start Date:

Thursday 1 October 2026 or as soon as possible.
