Scientific supervisor: Marco Geraci The research programme is deliberately broad and methodological, focusing on the development of statistical and probabilistic methods for complex data and systems. Relevant areas include distributional modelling, stochastic processes, dependence and copulas, extreme value theory, quantile regression, computational statistics, high-performance computing, machine learning and data science.

Qualifications

Applicants should hold a PhD (or equivalent foreign qualification) in Statistics, Probability, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline.
