OverviewAs Italy's Country Technology Lead, you will be the senior technology representative bridging the Italian business and the centralized Spain-based Technology function.
You will ensure technology solutions support restaurant ops, commercial goals, and growth while obeying standards, architecture, and governance.
You'll balance strategic business partnering with operational oversight, driving local execution of central initiatives and managing local technology suppliers.
This role offers impact at scale within a major international restaurant brand.
ResponsabilitàAct as a trusted technology advisor to Italian leadership and business stakeholders
Represent local priorities within the centralized Technology organization
Ensure alignment between Italy's objectives and technology strategy, standards, architecture, and roadmap
Coordinate effective communication between local stakeholders and centralized teams in Spain
Oversee operational health and performance of restaurant technology across Italy
Monitor restaurant tech like POS, payments, kiosks, networking, digital menus and in-store tech
Coordinate resolution of critical incidents with central support and external partners
Support openings, remodels, relocations, and major tech initiatives in Italy
Monitor digital channels' performance and partner with cross-functional teams to improve experience and efficiency
Support deployment, adoption, and readiness of new digital products and capabilities locally
Manage relationships with local technology suppliers, service providers, telco partners, and field service orgs
Monitor service delivery, SLAs,



and procurement processes when required
Promote adherence to cybersecurity, data protection, and governance procedures
Support local audits, risk management, and escalation of tech risks
Coordinate local execution of centrally driven technology projects and transformation initiatives
Support testing, piloting, deployment, communication and adoption activities in Italy
Ensure business readiness and smooth operational transition for new solutions
Requisiti fondamentaliBachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience
7+ years in technology leadership or multi-site operational tech roles
Strong understanding of restaurant, retail, hospitality tech ecosystems
Experience managing technology vendors and external service providers
Experience supporting multi-site environments and critical tech services
Solid knowledge of restaurant tech, payments, networking, digital channels, and operations support
Familiarity with cybersecurity, PCI DSS, GDPR and governance frameworks
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across business and tech
Ability to operate in a centralized, matrixed organization and influence without direct authority
Strong business orientation translating needs into tech priorities
Fluent in English and Italian; Spanish desirable
Willingness to travel regularly within Italy and occasionally to Spain
