Job role: IT Business Analyst/Application Support (Warehousing logistics background is essential)

Work Location: Milan & Soresina, Italy (Hybrid )

Language Requirement: Italian speaker

Role Summary: We are looking also for an IT Business Analyst/Application Support Professional able to support a WMS application in Italy.

Responsibilities:

Work with warehouse teams to understand their needs and turn them into clear system requirements.

Configure and support the WMS to reflect real business processes.

Troubleshoot system issues and follow up with internal teams or vendors until resolved.

Manage the full JIRA lifecycle: create, assign, and track tickets for incidents, changes, and enhancements.

Support system updates, upgrades, and new warehouse rollouts.

Coordinate testing activities (UAT) and train users when needed.

Keep documentation updated (e.g., process flows, system changes, ticket logs).

Ensure the WMS integrates smoothly with UPS related systems such as Global middleware, Symphony, SAGE or others.





Identify process improvement opportunities and suggest system enhancements.

Deliverables:

Business and functional requirements documentation.

JIRA dashboards and reports showing issue/ticket status and progress.

Configuration records and test result logs.

End-user training sessions or materials.

Support documentation for go-lives and project rollouts.

Skills Needed:

Experience with WMS platforms.

Solid understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.

Hands-on experience managing a ticket system such as JIRA (ticket creation, workflows, reporting).

Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork across business and IT.

Familiarity with system integrations, DB Oracle, basic SQL and PL/SQL is a plus.

Comfortable working in project environments (Agile or Waterfall).
