ppWe are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in the space industry to join our clients engineering team. /p pThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of mechanical systems for space applications, working within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary engineering environment /p pYou will be involved in the development of mechanical designs from concept through to /p pmanufacture and integration, ensuring that designs meet technical, performance and quality requirements. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and develop mechanical components and assemblies for space applications. /li liProduce detailed CAD models, engineering drawings and technical documentation. /li liPerform and support mechanical, structural and thermal analysis to validate designs. /li liWork closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop and optimise design solutions. /li liSupport design reviews, testing, integration and qualification activities. /li liLiaise with manufacturers to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality requirements.



/li liSupport design iterations, problem-solving and continuous improvement throughout the product development lifecycle. /li liContribute to the delivery of engineering projects within agreed timescales and technical requirements. /li liProven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within the space industry. /li liExperience designing mechanical components and assemblies for space or other high-reliability applications. /li liStrong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, manufacturing processes and design for manufacture. /li liExperience using CAD and engineering analysis tools such as CREO, NX, SolidWorks, ANSYS or equivalent. /li liAbility to produce detailed engineering drawings and apply GDT / precision tolerancing principles. /li liExperience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams and manufacturing partners. /li liStrong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
