JOB DESCRIPTION: Primary Function Abbott Ambassador

The Abbott Ambassador is responsible for managing and expanding existing accounts, managing and strengthening customer relationships, and improving account profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Full revenue accountability, including forecasting and achievement of target performance.
- Act as a trusted partner and advisor, serving as Abbott's primary point of contact for customers.
- Manage and drive account development, including key activities such as strategic account management and post-sales implementation processes.
- Identify opportunities for new product and menu expansion and support sales activities.
- Prepare and conduct regular business reviews with customers.
- Manage routine renewals of core business accounts and negotiate long-term contracts.
- Support the implementation of new tests.
- Provide ongoing customer training and coaching as required.
- Oversee the progress of cross-functional implementation teams (post-sales) together with the Project Manager.
- Success in this role is measured through business profitability, customer satisfaction score (NPS), contract renewal rate, and managed revenue.

Education and Required Skills

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- A degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Technology, Biology, Pharmacy, or Business is preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in the diagnostics industry, with a focus on managing and expanding existing accounts, strengthening customer relationships, and improving account profitability.
- Proven success in a similar role, supported by management references and customer testimonials.
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with customers, including senior management and key stakeholders.
- Strong product and industry knowledge.
- Solid understanding of customer decision-making processes and stakeholder dynamics.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to identify issues and lead problem-solving efforts.
- Long-term strategic account management mindset.
- Fluency in the local language and English is required; additional languages are considered an advantage.

Employment Classification: Employee, Level B1, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL).

Gross Annual Salary (RAL): min €46,000 max €60,000. Target Premio: 20%. The base pay for this position is N/A In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
