Lead Electrical Delivery on Major Construction Projects

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join our project delivery team and play a key role in the successful execution of complex electrical installations. This position is ideal for a hands‑on leader who can coordinate site activities, drive quality standards, maintain a strong safety culture, and lead electrical teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager/Site Manager, you will be responsible for supervising electrical works on site, coordinating installation activities, managing subcontractors and direct labour, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

You will take ownership of your work area, support project planning and execution,



and provide leadership to electrical trades throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Planning

- Lead and coordinate electrical installation teams on site.
- Develop and manage short-term look‑ahead plans.
- Coordinate activities with other trades to maintain programme milestones.
- Monitor progress and report on productivity, manpower, and project status.
- Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.

Quality Management

- Ensure installations are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and manufacturer requirements.
- Implement project Quality Control Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Carry out regular quality inspections and audits.
- Manage snagging activities and drive timely close‑out of defects.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, red‑line drawings, and quality records.

Health, Safety & Environmental

- Promote a “Zero Harm” safety culture on site.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved RAMS and permit systems.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site audits.
- Monitor housekeeping standards and safe working practices.
- Investigate and report incidents, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Demonstrate visible safety leadership and ensure compliance from all personnel and subcontractors.

Procurement & Materials Management

- Support procurement planning and material forecasting.
- Monitor deliveries to ensure programme requirements are achieved.
- Ensure materials are stored correctly and protected on site.
- Verify deliveries and maintain accurate records.

Team Leadership

- Supervise direct labour and subcontractors.




- Drive productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Support the development of apprentices and trades personnel.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration across the project team.

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience in an Electrical Site Supervisor or similar leadership role.
- Strong background in commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, data centre, or large‑scale construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of electrical installation practices, testing, commissioning, and quality procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe systems of work.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work fronts.
