La ricerca sarà indirizzata alla sintesi di nanostrutture di kesterite (Cu2ZnSnS4), sia standard che drogate con ioni magnetici (Fe2+ e Fe3+) e di perovskiti (CsPbX3, X=Cl, Br, I), sia pure che drogate con terre rare, in particolare Yb3+. Oltre alla caratterizzazione di base (ICP, SEM, TEM, XRD, spettroscopie di assorbimento/emissione), saranno studiate le proprietà fisiche dei sistemi sotto l’azione di un campo magnetico tramite tecniche magnetometriche (SQUID) e spettroscopiche (EPR, MCD, MCPL).

The research activities will be focused on the synthesis of nanostructures based on kesterite (Cu2ZnSnS4),



both in standard form and doped with magnetic transition metal ions (Fe2+, Fe3+) and based on perovskite (CsPbX3, X=Cl, Br, I), both pure and doped with rare earth ions, in particular Yb3+. Besides basic characterization (ICP, SEM, TEM, XRD, absorption and emission spectroscopies), the candidate will study the properties of the systems under the action of magnetic field through magnetometric (SQUID) and spectroscopic (EPR, MCD, MCPL) techniques.
