OverviewIn this role you drive engineering activities across the project lifecycle, coordinating cross?functional teams to meet requirements, standards and budget.
You'll prepare technical proposals, manage requirements with RTM, and serve as the primary technical interface with customers.
The position supports bid and execution phases, ensuring robust verification, validation, and certification planning.
You'll contribute to a fast-paced, international team shaping railway projects with a focus on delivery quality and traceability.
ResponsabilitàPlan, monitor and coordinate engineering activities across the project lifecycle from bid to delivery, including design verification and validation
Coordinate cross-disciplinary project teams to meet input requirements, regulations, budgets, schedules and quality targets
Prepare project documentation for bid and execution phases, including technical proposals and engineering plans
During bids, maintain the Product Data Sheet to support cost consolidation for quotations
Submit System Requirements Specifications for supplier engagement
Support requirements management throughout the project lifecycle with RTM and evidences
Act as primary technical interface with the customer for documentation collection and verification
Lead internal and external design reviews under supervision
Monitor progress, performance, risks and opportunities; escalate when necessary




Manage project KPIs and open items using defined templates/dashboards
Coordinate with Project Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Certification & Safety and others to ensure delivery
Assess impact of customer changes and support the change process
Manage non-conformances per internal procedures
Ensure submission of manuals, documentation and training to the customer
Define certification and validation strategies with Certification and Validation Managers
Coordinate testing activities to ensure verification and validation
Support vehicle homologation by coordinating required documentation
Ensure engineering changes and configuration are managed across the project lifecycle
Requisiti fondamentaliBasic system engineering and requirements management knowledge
Basic design verification and validation knowledge
Good command of office automation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to coordinate multiple functional teams across complex lifecycles
