Southern Visions Travel is looking for a talented, highly organized and detail-oriented Travel Designer with a strong focus on Puglia and Basilicata to join our team.

The ideal candidate has excellent destination knowledge, strong written and spoken English, a refined understanding of high-end travel, and the ability to design, quote and book seamless itineraries for an international luxury clientele.

Our clients are mainly English-speaking travelers from North America, Australia and other key long-haul markets, often booking through luxury travel advisors, partner agencies and international DMCs.

PRINICPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Creation of tailor-made itineraries for luxury, experiential travel in Southern Italy for travel agents, direct clients and partner DMCs. Clients are English-speaking, principally from North America and Australia.

Travel Design role will include:

- Itinerary design involving experiences and accommodation using our management software;
- Pricing of individual trips including application of margins, exchange rates and agency commission;
- Detailed, professional and efficient correspondence (phone & email) with clients;
- Pro-active follow ups with dormant enquiries using our CRM (direct clients, agents & tour operators)
- Assignment of all additional operational details to the Operations & Booking Department
- Coordination of client documents to agents;




- Coordination with Admin department for client invoices and payments;
- Rotational responsibility for the SV 24/7 emergency phone, approximately one week per month, primarily

from April to October and only occasionally during the winter season, including coordination of appropriate responses with clients and suppliers.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Great Knowledge of Puglia region in its geography, logistics and players of the high-end tourist industry
- Fluency in both written and spoken English (C1 level)
- Full expertise of Office softwares (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Problem-solving and pro-active attitude
- Ability to work and perform under pressure
- Excellent time management

Office Presence in Polignano a Mare

- For the months of May, June, Sept & Oct: to be available at the office everyday Mon-Fri;
- For all other months: to be available at the office 4 times a week; 1 day per week to work from home/remotely The above criteria will remain flexible and subject to changed based on work volumes. Criteria will be discussed each semester, along with a performance review.

Holidays

Holidays are encouraged in the months of July, August, Nov and Dec and all statutory leave must be taken in the appropriate year.

Required Professional Experience

Minimum of 24 months of proven experience, supported by references, is required due to the company’s rapid growth.
