Overview

In this role you drive enterprise AI adoption across ING, aligning AI initiatives with strategy, governance, and regulatory expectations. You coordinate a federated AI operating model, connect the CEO with cross‑functional AI SPOCs, and ensure measurable value while maintaining risk controls. You bridge business, technology, and control functions to translate AI topics into executive insight and decisions. You will shape standards, governance, and lifecycle practices in a regulated banking environment.

Responsabilità

- Coordinate AI initiatives across business lines and control functions (e.g., Business, Risk, Compliance, Legal, IT, Operations, HR)
- Own and prioritize the AI use‑case portfolio to align with strategic objectives
- Liaise with Global AI and Group-level stakeholders to scale relevant use cases for the Italian context
- Orchestrate a federated AI operating model enabling cross‑functional collaboration without direct authority
- Shape and prioritize AI use cases with clear objectives, benefits, risks and scalability
- Ensure AI initiatives comply with banking regulations, supervisory expectations and internal policies including Responsible AI




- Contribute to enterprise AI standards, governance frameworks, and escalation mechanisms
- Define and monitor AI lifecycle principles aligned with risk management and regulatory requirements
- Develop value‑tracking indicators and consolidate enterprise insights
- Prepare decision‑ready materials for the CEO and executive forums
- Translate complex AI topics into concise executive communications
- Monitor market, tech and regulatory developments and advise leadership on implications
- Ensure alignment with Global and Local Technology strategy, IT investments and expected ROI

Requisiti fondamentali

- Experience in AI, advanced analytics, digital innovation or transformation in banking or regulated industries
- Solid understanding of AI and GenAI concepts (LLMs, automation, decision‑support) and their banking applications
- Exposure to AI governance, model risk management or banking regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to operate in complex, matrix and federated environments
- Strong senior stakeholder management, including executive interaction
- Ability to balance innovation, risk and compliance with a value‑driven mindset
