As a Senior Software Engineer with a systems architect mindset, you will help shape how these systems are designed, how they stay reliable, and how we build software with AI.

What You'll Do

Help define what modern, AI-native core systems look like, and build them with the team:

- Design the architecture of our next-generation operational systems: domain boundaries, data ownership, and integration contracts.
- Make correctness part of the design, so that transactions and state stay consistent under concurrency, retries, and partial failures.
- Improve our software development lifecycle for AI-assisted engineering: how specifications, tests, code review, and verification work when agents write much of the code.
- Develop and promote engineering best practices,



reference implementations, and reusable components that make future systems faster and safer to build.
- Shape how we gain confidence in critical systems: testing strategies, validation approaches, and observability.
- Contribute to technical decisions with long-term impact, and share the trade-offs so the team can build on them.
- Stay hands-on: build critical parts, review the work of humans and agents, and adjust the design when production shows something new.

You will collaborate with Software Engineers, AI Engineers, Forward Deployed Engineers, and domain experts, from problem definition through deployment and operation. Your responsibility goes beyond delivering features. You will learn the domain, challenge existing assumptions, and help decide how the next generation of our core systems should work and how our team should build them.

You're Probably a Fit If

- You have designed, built, and operated backend systems in production, and contributed to the architectural decisions behind them.
- You reason naturally about system boundaries, data models, transactions, consistency, and failure scenarios, and you design for them from the start.

- You have clear ideas on how software should be built, and you enjoy refining them together with your team.
- You have helped improve how a team works: its practices, its tooling, or its development process.
- You turn ambiguous business problems into clear technical direction and make deliberate trade-offs between speed, quality, and complexity.

- You use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor daily, and you think about how they change design, implementation, testing, and review.
- You enjoy understanding the business problem as well as solving the technical one.
- You typically have 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in software engineering.

Experience with any of the following is a strong plus:
- Postgres, Python, or FastAPI.
- Distributed or event-driven systems.
- Legacy modernization, ERP or MES platforms, or complex operational domains.
