We’re Hiring a Sales Representative – Logistics & Freight Forwarding

Location: Genoa, Italy

This role offers a strong foundation in commercial sales, customer engagement, and market development within one of Europe's most important logistics hubs. It is ideal for professionals who are eager to develop their sales career in a dynamic international environment.

What You'll Do

- Identify and develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory
- Conduct customer meetings, sales calls, and service presentations
- Promote Atlantic Gate's freight forwarding and logistics solutions
- Prepare and follow up on freight quotations in collaboration with Operations and Procurement teams
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines, and activity reports
- Support customer onboarding and ensure a smooth handover to Operations
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and partners
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitor activity, and freight rate developments
- Represent Atlantic Gate at industry events, trade fairs,



and networking opportunities when applicable

What You Bring

- 1-4 years of experience in sales, customer service, or operations within logistics or freight forwarding
- Knowledge of sea freight, air freight, road transport, or multimodal logistics is an advantage
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Basic negotiation and commercial skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in Italian and English
- A proactive, organized, and results-oriented mindset
- Strong motivation to develop a successful sales career
