We are supporting an Italian software company that is looking for an experienced Mobile Developer to join on a contract basis from the beginning of November. Native mobile experience is the priority, with React Native as a strong complement.
What you'll be doing
- Building and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android
- Working across native and React Native codebases
- Collaborating closely with product, design and backend engineers
- Writing clean, well-tested code and taking part in code reviews
- Helping ship features quickly while keeping performance and stability high
What we're looking for
- Strong commercial experience in native mobile development (Swift/iOS and/or Kotlin/Android)
- Solid hands-on experience with React Native
- A track record of shipping and maintaining production apps in the App Store and/or Google Play
- Experience integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs and working with CI/CD for mobile
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, contract setting
- Based in Italy, with the right to work as a contractor
- Available to start in early November
- Good written and spoken English
Nice to have
- Experience with both iOS and Android native stacks
- Knowledge of mobile testing, performance optimisation and app release processes
