We’re looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst / Application Support Professional with a strong Warehousing & Logistics background to support a WMS application and warehouse operations in Italy.
? Location: Italy – Spino d'Adda / Soresina
? Work Model: Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite per week
?️ Language: Italian speaker – Mandatory
? Employment Type: Contract
? Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and logistics
- Experience as an IT Business Analyst / Application Support
- Hands-on experience with JIRA – ticket creation, assignment, workflows, tracking and reporting
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate warehouse business needs into functional/system requirements
- Strong communication skills across business, IT teams and vendors
- Comfortable working in Agile or Waterfall project environments
? Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with warehouse teams to understand requirements and business processes
- Configure and support WMS solutions according to operational needs
- Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams/vendors
- Manage the complete JIRA lifecycle for incidents, changes and enhancements
- Support system upgrades, releases and new warehouse rollouts
- Coordinate UAT and testing activities
- Provide end-user training and support
- Maintain process flows, configuration records, test results and support documentation
- Support WMS integrations with related enterprise systems and middleware
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend system enhancements
⭐ Nice to Have:
- Experience with Oracle Database
- Basic SQL / PL/SQL
- Experience with WMS integrations and middleware
- Experience supporting warehouse system implementations or rollouts
- Exposure to systems such as Teseo, Global Middleware, Symphony or SAGE
