JOB SCOPE:

The Director, Procurement – UK & Europe is responsible for leading the procurement strategy, supplier management, sourcing, governance, and cost optimization agenda across the UK and Europe region. The role serves as a strategic business partner to regional leadership and works closely with Global Procurement to drive value creation, operational efficiency, supplier performance, and procurement transformation.

The incumbent will oversee regional procurement activities supporting both existing and new airport lounge operations, ensuring alignment with Group objectives, compliance standards, and business growth plans.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Procurement & Business Partnership

- Develop and execute the UK & Europe procurement strategy aligned with Group objectives.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver commercial value, operational excellence, and business growth.
- Lead procurement initiatives that drive savings, standardization, and process improvement.

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

- Lead sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier management across key spend categories.
- Establish strategic supplier partnerships and drive supplier performance and innovation.
- Ensure effective category management, contract governance, and risk mitigation.

Cost Optimization & Financial Management

- Deliver procurement savings, cost avoidance, and value creation targets.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning through procurement insights.
- Drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and spend optimization initiatives.

Governance & Risk Management

- Ensure compliance with procurement policies,



delegated authorities, and regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen procurement controls, supplier risk management, and business continuity plans.
- Promote ethical sourcing and sustainability practices.

Procurement Excellence & Leadership

- Lead procurement transformation, system adoption, and process standardization.
- Develop procurement KPIs, reporting, and performance management frameworks.
- Build and lead a high-performing regional procurement team through coaching and capability development.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as MCIPS, CPSM, CPM, or equivalent preferred.
- 12 years' experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, including significant regional leadership experience.
- Proven track record managing UK & Europe procurement operations within a multinational organization.
- Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
- Experience delivering procurement transformation, cost optimization, and value creation programs.
- Strong commercial, financial, and analytical skills with knowledge of TCO methodologies.
- Experience with procurement systems and ERP platforms such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, or equivalent.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Experience in hospitality, airport services, aviation, travel retail, F&B;, or related industries is highly desirable.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel across the UK, Europe, and occasionally globally.
