With a rich heritage of technological innovation and a forward-thinking approach, we lead the energy transition through engineering excellence, cutting-edge technology, and strong execution capabilities. /p pTecnimont is looking for a bLayout Piping Mechanical Critical Application Specialist /b to join the bLayout Piping Department /b within the bEngineering, Technology and Research Development Division /b. /p pThe Layout Piping Mechanical Critical Application Specialist, under the supervision of the Group Leader, will contribute to the mechanical analysis and design of critical piping components, piping systems, and pipe supports. /p pThe role focuses on complex mechanical applications requiring advanced engineering analyses, ensuring compliance with applicable Engineering Practices, international codes, and company standards. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 pYou will be responsible for: /p ul liPerforming advanced mechanical analyses and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of critical piping components, piping systems, and pipe supports. /li liPerforming engineering calculations for piping systems operating under critical conditions, including high pressure and/or high temperature applications. /li liAnalyzing systems subject to cyclic service, creep conditions, or other demanding operating scenarios. /li liPerforming mechanical assessments of large-diameter piping and components outside standard ANSI/ASME dimensions. /li liAnalyzing piping systems and components subject to high applied loads or complex geometries. /li liPerforming mechanical analyses of piping connections to critical equipment. /li liDeveloping and verifying technical solutions for critical pipe supports in accordance with project requirements. /li liPerforming piping and mechanical calculations using specialist engineering software, including bCAESAR II, NozzlePRO, and ANSYS /b. /li liStudying,



interpreting, and applying international codes, standards, and specialist regulatory requirements related to piping component design. /li liCollaborating with Layout Piping and other Engineering disciplines to ensure the technical consistency and integration of critical piping solutions. /li liSupporting the resolution of complex technical issues related to mechanical behavior and critical piping applications. h3Requirements and Skills /h3 ul liDegree in mechanical engineering or technical diploma. /li liAt least b10 years of professional experience /b in mechanical design and analysis within the Piping discipline. /li liProven experience in mechanical and stress analysis using bCAESAR II, NozzlePRO, and ANSYS /b. /li liStrong knowledge of piping mechanical analysis, critical piping components, and pipe support design. /li liGood knowledge of applicable piping codes, standards, and engineering practices. /li liExperience with critical applications involving high pressure and temperature, cyclic service, creep conditions, large-diameter piping, high loads, or complex geometries. /li liGood knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. /li liFamiliarity with CAD software, preferably bAutoCAD /b. /li liGood working knowledge of English. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to technical detail. /li liAbility to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.Availability for business trips in Italy and abroad. /li /ul h3Contract Type and Classification /h3 ul liContract Type: Permanent /li liApplicable Collective Agreement (NCLC): Chemical and Chemical-Pharmaceutical Industry (Identification Code B011) /li liJob Classification Level:
