If you're driven by turning complexity into clarity and thrive in taking ownership of high-impact projects, join us to navigate the future of maritime digitalisation together. /p h3Key Roles and Responsibilities /h3 pAs a Senior Business Analyst, your typical day might include: /p h3Strategic Navigator: Define Product Requirements and Vision /h3 ul liPioneer solutions - Develop clear user stories and requirements that align with our PARIS product vision, ensuring every feature addresses genuine user needs /li liDecode stakeholder needs - Transform vague or unclear demands into clear functional AND non-functional requirements using critical thinking, distinguishing between desired features and mission-critical objectives /li liShape the future - Partner with Product Owners and the CX team to evolve the product roadmap, balancing ambition with feasibility whilst challenging assumptions to ensure long-term strategic value /li liIdentify risks and opportunities - Proactively surface risks, gaps, and opportunities to ensure roadmaps remain on track and ensure successful delivery /li /ul h3Problem-Solver: Turn Data into Decisive Action /h3 ul liPrioritisation: Manage multiple product roadmaps with discipline, prioritising based on business value and impact /li liUnlock insights: Analyse user feedback and UX analytics to understand what is working, what is not, and why.
Translate findings into actionable strategies that improve product performance /li liMentor the next generation - Guide other Business Analysts with your expertise, fostering excellence through clear thinking, rapid iteration, and effective collaboration /li /ul h3Collaborative Architect: Build Bridges Between Vision and Reality /h3 ul liLead cross-functional partnerships – Coordinate across IT, operations teams and external stakeholders to understand requirements, negotiate priorities, and ensure solutions support Fleet’s objectives /li liDrive change adoption - Design and execute rollout strategies for new products and capabilities, ensuring smooth adoption through training, communication, and stakeholder engagement because impact only matters when solutions are embraced /li /ul h3Continuous Improvement: Elevating Quality Through Learning Innovation /h3 ul liDrive continuous improvement - Identify and highlight opportunities for process improvement that benefit individual contribution and broader team effectiveness /li liStay current - Maintain knowledge of industry best practices, tools and methodologies to enhance capability and delivery quality /li liEmbody excellence - Model collaborative, learning-focused values aligned with team standards and Fleet Management's commitment to operational excellenc(SI /li /ul h3Relationship /h3 h3INTERNAL: /h3 ul liOperational Product Owners other stakeholders (Based in HK, India, Singapore, Cyprus, Philippines, China) /li liCustomer Experience (CX) team including Product Team, UX Designers and QA Engineers (based in HK India) /li liDevelopment team, Ops Support (based in HK India) /li /ul h3EXTERNAL: /h3 ul liInteraction with Owners/Clients, Suppliers and/or third-party solution providers /li /ul h3Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications /h3 pbESSENTIAL – You MUST have all these skills and experiences: /b /p ul li5+ years of experience working in a Business Analysis or Senior Business Analysis role in developing repeatable, scalable IT products /li liEffective and confident communication in written and spoken English – getting messages across clearly and concisely /li liStrong mindset on understanding the use of data to help drive prioritisation - demonstrated through the use of either: /li ul liAdvanced Excel skills, or /li liUse of database skills such as SQL and ElasticSearch or GoogleAnalytics for UX analytics /li /ul liLead change management initiatives across a large department / company to land new capability smoothly and effectively /li liDemonstration of influencing senior stakeholders (Director level including C-Level) /li liEvidence of mentoring other Business Analysts to help them grow and reach their potential /li liApplied experience in AI prompting for research, use case discovery, requirements gathering,
and data analysis /li /ul pbDESIRABLE – It’s great if you have these too: /b /p ul liProficiency with JIRA (sprint planning, backlog refinement), Figma (design collaboration and feedback), and cross-tool workflow coordination. Comfortable managing design-to-delivery handoffs /li liDemonstrated experience in Agile/Scrum environments, with the flexibility to adapt across Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies depending on project context(AP5.1) /li liQualification in process mapping (such as Lean Six Sigma) /li liMaritime / Shipping industry experience would be a huge plus or similar industries such as Aviation, Logistics, or Transport /li /ul h3Competencies /h3 ul liAnalysis and Problem Solving: Uses a systematic approach to root cause analysis on complex problems to identify underlying trends and put forward well-thought-out solutions to address the causes and reduce risk. /li liListening and Communicating: Is effective in communicating his vision with a wider audience.
